My baby is from a no-kill shelter. But I can't help but wonder how many of the "no-kill activists" who spam craigslist with this site consume meat, buy leather, etc ...

And as I can only speak for myself, leather and meat have not been a part of my life for 30 years.
As for those who love and want to protect domestic pets but eat meat - well isn't life a process - don't we all come to each step at different times?
You love your baby from the no kill shelter but do you eat meat and wear leather?
I'm a volunteer dog walker at LCHS ... I am NOT a supporter of LCHS... bringing a tiny bit of compassion and love to these poor pups twice a week is my only purpose there.
